The Program Management Team is on a mission to build and operate the world's most performant, efficient, and reliable planetary-scale platform. You will join a team of Technical program managers that lead complex technical programs that advance Akamai's Cloud Computing Technology.

You will work with our Technology Group by aligning goals with Engineering leadership and their teams. You will plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major programs, products, and solutions.

As a Senior II Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility, multi-team technical programsDriving alignment across engineering, product, and business leaders while managing competing prioritiesDeveloping successful partnerships with engineering, product and program stakeholders across the organizationIdentifying areas for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions and implementing the change managementMentoring and guiding TPMs and engineers on execution best practices

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, another related field, or its equivalentHave solid business acumen with ability to connect program work to company strategy and expertise in risk management, problem-solving, and navigating ambiguityBe able to take proactive ownership to anticipate needs, identify gaps early, help close gaps, and resolve issues or blockersBe extremely well-organized, details-oriented, motivated, and technically-orientedHave excellent and storytelling communication skills for both technical and executive audiences and ability to build solid relationships and influence decisions across organizations without authorityPossess skills in networking, cloud knowledge, and project tools such as Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence, Aha, JQL, eazyBI, Tableau
