We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support overall operational needs.
Duties
- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch.
- Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of trucks and related equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading processes.
- Operate heavy equipment when required for freight handling or site operations.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and basic automotive repair is a plus.
- Experience with freight logistics, route planning, and safety compliance is desirable.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from origin to destination while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
Work Location: On the road
