We are a very busy business that offers daycare, boarding, grooming, Certified Canine Massage Therapy, dog walking, house visits and more

Job Description

The successful candidate will be an avid animal lover, a hard worker, have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast paced and busy work environment. This person needs to be a self-starter and have good work ethic. Tasks include:

* cleaning up after dogs immediately after any messes

* learning and using dog body and dog behaviour skills to provide for an excellent day at daycare for our clients

* feeding dogs

* ACTIVELY playing with and engaging dogs all day long during your shift

* Keeping up with checklists of cleaning duties

* Keeping up with the entry and exit of daycare participants as they come and go for their stays

Client service

The successful candidate will display superior examples of the ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with clients. Learn our Gingr software platform that we use to communicate with our clients, know the visit schedules and communicate with team members

Teamwork

At work, people work with others to coordinate tasks, share resources, plan, make decisions, negotiate, solve conflicts and complete other activities that involve teamwork.

Digital skills

The successful candidate will be open and willing to learn new digital systems and be a quick study. This position needs to understand and use digital systems, tools and applications, and to process digital information. At work, people use digital technology skills to input, access, analyze, organize, create and communicate information and ideas using computers, software, point-of-sale equipment, email, podcasts, web applications, smart phones and other digital devices.

This position is for a part-time position, but there is lots of opportunity for more hours, and movement into full-time should it become available.
