Applications are invited for the position of Part-Time Professor, to teach courses in the Community Integration through Co-operative Education (CICE) program for the Winter 2026 term (January to April These positions are 3-6 hours per week and would be conducted between the hours of 8.30 and 4.30 p.m. on weekdays.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of the School of Academic and Liberal Studies, this exciting role requires the successful candidate to provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment to deliver a variety of specialist courses in the Community Integration through Cooperative Education Program.

At this time, we are seeking candidates with the ability to teach the following courses:

TECH 1042 Information Technology – Digital technology, web tools, LMS and computer etiquette.

STDV 1105 Employment Skills Development 1

TECH 1042 Information Technology Skills

STDV 1243 Student Success 2

HLTH 1300 Community Recreation for Healthy Active Living

STDV 1305 Personal and Workplace Financial Management 2

Required qualifications:
  • Postsecondary degree in a related discipline such as Education, Disability Studies, Developmental Services, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or teaching students with intellectual or developmental disabilities in an academic or community setting
  • Proven ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Strong digital literacy skills and familiarity with educational technology, accessibility tools, and digital learning resources
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Preferred candidates may also possess:
  • Master's degree in a related field is considered an asset
  • Experience using Brightspace (D2L) or other Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, differentiated instruction, and inclusive assessment practices
  • Demonstrated commitment to student success and student-centered learning approaches
  • Previous experience teaching or training in a college or adult education environment
