HR Operations & Systems Coordinator - Permanent
About The Opportunity
LRO Staffing is seeking an HR Operations & Systems Coordinator to join a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement, offering a flexible and supportive team environment focused on collaboration, engagement, and professional growth.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for HRIS management, payroll support, and benefits administration, ensuring accurate HR processes and providing frontline support to employees.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and optimize the HRIS system (BambooHR preferred), ensuring accurate employee data and reporting
- Process employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Generate HR reports, dashboards, and analytics for management decision-making
- Support payroll review by validating data
- Administer employee benefits, including enrolments, updates, and terminations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and leave policies
- Coordinate with finance and vendors for payroll and benefits-related matters
- Prepare HR documentation such as offer letters, amendments, and termination letters
- Conduct onboarding and payroll/benefits orientations for new hires
- Maintain organized, confidential employee records and documentation
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of HR experience
- Experience using an HRIS platform (BambooHR preferred)
- Experience with payroll processes and benefits administration
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

- This role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of $50,000-$60,000 (commensurate with experience) and a comprehensive benefits package.
