  • Produce and analyze bi-weekly audit reports, as well as request the correction from the appropriate group or make corrections as required.

  • Analyze employee salary files to determine effective dates for step increases.

  • Analyze and update the payroll system for short-term accruals to leave banks.

  • Analyze complex files and reports, then resolve and correct issues or make recommendations, as required.

  • Compile information and prepare reports, either as part of routine reporting requirements or in response to special requests from within or outside the unit, department or operation.

  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining internal procedures and templates.

  • Provide familiarization and support to other SSC team members, as required.

  • May be asked to review and audit work performed by team members or other Shared Services teams.

  • Liaise with other teams such as HR, IR, Compensation, System Support, Analytics.

  • Work with highly confidential and sensitive information concerning employee files.

You are responsible for providing an updated resumé and highlighting the qualifications and skills required for this position.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Requires 2 years of experience at CBC or similar organization in related fields.

  • Written and oral bilingualism essential (French / English).

  • Knowledge of human resources policies, payroll technologies, collective agreements, as well as an understanding of federal and provincial legislation.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail required.

  • Extensive knowledge of pay processing systems, such as Workday.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage several priorities and meet multiple, tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Discretion, diplomacy and tact in communications, both written and oral.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

  • Excellent judgment, initiative, analytical skills and resourcefulness.

  • Ability to work overtime.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the next

step will be asked to complete a background check. This includes:

  • A mandatory Criminal record check.

  • Other background checks may be conducted based on the operational requirements of the position.
