Who We Are

Tankwise Inc. is a family-owned heavy equipment repair shop located in Guelph, ON. We take pride in our clean, well-organized facility and top-quality brand-name tools. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our growing team.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position with straight days: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. No weekends or on-call work.

As a Technician at Tankwise, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers' trucks and trailers in safe, reliable working condition. Your work will include repairs, maintenance, and annual inspections. Since we specialize in tanker inspection and repair, we're also looking for someone interested in completing in-house training to become a certified tank inspector (B620).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and annual inspections on customer fleets
  • Track parts and accurately enter information on work orders
  • Train in-house to become a registered tank inspector (B620)
  • Communicate job status and progress with the Lead Tec
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy truck or trailer technician
  • Must provide own tools/toolbox
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., tires)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • AZ license is an asset (we provide shunting services for customers)
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) is an asset
  • Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
