Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of various types of equipment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skidsteers, and rock truck machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and farm machinery operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are preferred.
