About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Coordinator to support the successful implementation and day-to-day operations of the Financial Empowerment Hub. This role will work closely with Project Managers and cross-sectoral partners to ensure the timely delivery of activities, coordination of stakeholders, and effective tracking of project outcomes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and passionate about advancing equitable access to financial resources and education.

Work Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time - 3-year contract)

Salary: Grade 10 Step 1 and if applicable, salary range $56,110- $60,078

Location: East Broadway, with the possibility of working Hybrid (in office, with the community, and home)

What do you need to succeed?

Education/Training/Experience

  • Post-secondary education in project management, social services, community development, public policy, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a non-profit or community-based setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Experience working on provincial or multi-site initiatives is an asset

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and passionate about advancing equitable access to financial resources and education
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with diverse communities and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
  • Knowledge of financial empowerment, poverty reduction, or economic equity frameworks is an asset
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed delivery of service
  • Familiarity with project management software is an asset

Essential Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities across multiple regions and stakeholders
  • Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and workback schedules
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, training sessions, webinars, and community events
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing documents

Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for project partners, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Support stakeholder coordination, including scheduling, follow-up, and documentation
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of collaborative relationships with community organizations, funders, and other key partners

Communications & Resource Development

  • Help coordinate the development and dissemination of project materials (e.g., resources, toolkits, promotional content, other)
  • Maintain internal documentation, contact databases, and shared resources
  • Support the creation and implementation of communication strategies to promote project goals

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Track and compile project data and partner reporting inputs
  • Assist in monitoring project outcomes and supporting continuous improvement
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual funder reports and evaluation processes.
