Push Interactions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) to become an integral part of our Saskatoon-based team. This is a permanent, in-person position at our Saskatoon office. Relocation to Saskatoon may be required before your start date. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a QA Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our mobile applications (iOS & Android), server-side APIs, and web applications meet the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans.
Performing a wide range of testing: functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, and usability.
Meticulously identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using tools like JIRA & Confluence.
Collaborating closely with mobile and server developers to understand requirements and champion testability.
Conducting API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
Testing mobile applications across diverse devices and operating system versions.
Actively contributing to the enhancement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Providing clear, concise test reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Your Day-to-Day:
Writing and executing test plans for new API endpoints.
Running regression tests on mobile apps post-release.
Analyzing test outcomes and meticulously reporting defects.
Partnering with developers to resolve issues.
Creating and maintaining test automation scripts.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance.
A strong grasp of software testing principles and methodologies.
Proven experience with mobile testing (iOS and Android) and associated tools.
Proficiency in API testing, utilizing tools like Postman or equivalent.
Experience with project collaboration and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA & Confluence).
The ability to craft clear, concise, and effective bug reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience using Git for version control.
A forward-thinking approach to creating and maintaining testing processes with long-term maintenance in mind.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with test automation frameworks.
Knowledge of SQL and database principles.
