About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic transportation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience booking loads through Load Link, DAT, and other freight platforms, as well as coordinating with drivers and customers to ensure on-time deliveries. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and book loads using Load Link, DAT, and other load boards.
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickup and delivery of freight.
- Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to maximize profitability.
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and drivers.
- Maintain accurate documentation for loads, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, drivers, and clients.
- Resolve issues related to delays, cancellations, or load changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight dispatch, or load booking.
- Proven experience using Load Link and DAT platforms (required).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of North American trucking lanes and freight rates preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,270.08-$67,599.30 per year
Work Location: In person
