Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Account Manager
with a strong background in the
printing or promotional products industry
, and proven experience managing clients in
trade show and event marketing environments
. The ideal candidate excels at building long-term client relationships, supporting sales growth, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Growth
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular client check-ins to provide updates, collect feedback, and deliver proactive support.
Sales Support & Strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams — production, marketing, logistics, and customer service — to ensure seamless order execution.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by developing effective account strategies.
- Participate in weekly performance meetings to review KPIs, targets, and account progress.
- Maintain accurate client data, sales activities, and pipeline status in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
Industry Events & Travel
- Represent the company at
trade shows, expos, and client events
across Canada and the U.S. - Travel to client sites for presentations, relationship-building, and site support as needed.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required to meet client needs.
Reporting & Insights
- Provide regular account performance updates, forecasts, and progress reports to leadership.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client market shifts to guide strategy.
- Track and analyze account KPIs to ensure consistent performance and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
5–7 years in account management, business development, or client success roles. - Industry Background:
Printing, promotional, or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. - Strong understanding of
B2B sales
and client relationship management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in analyzing account data, tracking KPIs, and delivering performance reports.
- Valid
passport and driver's license
required. - Ability to travel across Canada and the U.S. as required.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Business, Marketing, or a related field
(preferred). - Certifications in
Sales, CRM platforms, or Account Management tools
are considered an asset.
