We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The duties;

Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments

  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accordingly
  • Assist with patient check-out procedures and payment processing
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with dental staff to optimize daily operations
  • Maintain organized patient records using Dentrix, Epic, or other electronic medical record systems
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
  • Collaborate with dental team members to facilitate smooth clinic operations

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare documentation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and administrative procedures in healthcare environments
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and professionally
  • Prior experience working with insurance verification and billing processes is preferred
