The Opportunity
Hansler Industries is looking for a personable
Customer Service Representative
to join our team in
Lethbridge, Alberta
. As the Customer Service Representative you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and supporting the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth branch operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating sales leads through direct outreach
  • Meeting with existing and potential customers, providing tailored solutions for their needs
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Processing orders, quotes, and service requests accurately and efficiently
  • Assisting customers with product information, pricing, availability, and technical questions
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system
  • Supporting the sales and service teams by coordinating schedules, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Resolving customer concerns and complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Contributing to team goals and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the branch
  • Performing general administrative tasks as needed to support branch operations

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • At least two years of related customer service experience, preferably in a B2B sales position
  • Experience working within the material handling, agriculture, or construction equipment industries is preferred
  • Post-secondary education in sales, business management, or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
  • Prior experience working with a CRM
  • A customer-focused mindset and strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Maintaining a valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to travel within the region
