Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings, ensuring high-quality performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

Duties

  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper setup and functionality of AV systems.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems.
  • Utilize hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards when working with low voltage systems.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with electrical components.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications in audio-visual setups.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
  • Experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients for support purposes.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
