Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Prior dealership experience is a plus, along with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and reading schematics. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools and equipment
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems
  • Operate welding equipment and perform welding tasks as needed for structural repairs
  • Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble and assemble vehicle parts
  • Lift heavy components safely during repair procedures
  • Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines

Skills

  • Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
  • Experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly processes
  • Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance best practices
  • Mechanic experience with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance
