Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Specialist located in Montreal, QC. The Content Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing web content, developing and executing content strategies, and writing high-quality content. Daily tasks include researching industry trends, optimizing content for SEO, and maintaining content management systems.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in spoken and written American English
  • Willing to be client facing
  • Understanding of content intents
  • Ability to identify and recommend content types (listicles, how-to's, etc)
  • Knowledge about AI content and AI-quirks
  • Cognizant about AI tools and methods
  • Collaborative mindset for requirements
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced agency setting
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Contributed or managed a blog
  • Fail fast and learn mentality
  • Strong skills in Web Content Writing, Writing, and Content Strategy
  • Proficiency in Content Management and overall Content Development
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay current with industry trends and SEO best practices
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Experience in the SEO or digital marketing industry is a plus
