About the Position

Stellar Cleaners is a locally owned, family-operated residential cleaning company expanding into Cambridge. We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented residential cleaners who take pride in their work and enjoy delivering consistently high-quality results for recurring clients.

This role is ideal for experienced cleaners based in Cambridge who want flexible hours, steady work, and a professional support team behind them. As an independent contractor, you choose your availability while we manage client bookings, scheduling, and payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality residential cleaning services, including:
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
  • Kitchen and bathroom sanitization
  • General tidying and surface cleaning
  • Follow Stellar Cleaners' standardized checklists and any homeowner-specific instructions.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients and our office team.
  • Report supply needs, damages, or special client requests promptly.
  • Ensure every home is left clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on residential cleaning experience
  • Strong understanding of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Comfortable servicing clients throughout Cambridge (and surrounding areas)
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism
  • Smartphone required for navigation, scheduling, and messaging

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deep cleans or move-in / move-out cleans
  • Comfortable working in homes with pets
  • Experience maintaining recurring residential clients
