About the Role

We are seeking a
Firewall Governance & Network Compliance Analyst
to join a governance-focused security team. This is
not a hands-on firewall engineering role
— instead, you'll be responsible for ensuring firewall rules, network controls, and configurations adhere to enterprise governance and compliance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Govern and review
    firewall rules
    for compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Perform
    network compliance checks
    and identify non-compliant configurations.
  • Analyze
    traffic flow
    and zoning to ensure adherence to segmentation principles.
  • Support
    vulnerability management
    and
    configuration drift monitoring
    .
  • Collaborate with audit, risk, and control partners to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Provide
    oversight and reporting
    —
    no implementation or firewall builds
    .

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in
    network governance
    ,
    security compliance
    , or
    GRC
    .
  • Understanding of
    firewall rule lifecycle
    ,
    network zoning
    , and
    traffic flow
    .
  • Familiarity with
    vulnerability management
    and
    config drift tools
    .
  • Exposure to
    audit processes
    and internal control assessments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Financial or highly regulated industry experience is an asset.
