About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented laundry attendant who is organized and committed to making sure the housekeeping teams are prepped with all that they need for a smooth day of cleaning out in the field at our various vacation rentals. We expect you to maintain the cleanliness and presentation we are known for, ensuring no hair or stains are left on linens and they are folded and organized based on the upcoming unit turnovers. Must be able to work afternoon/evenings and weekends as our busiest turnover days are Thursday/Friday/Sunday/Monday. Could be a year-round position but will be quite reduced in the shoulder seasons.

May be combined with casual housekeeping for full-time work. As the first impression for guests, your work both as laundry attendant and housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and understands the hospitality industry.

Must have a reliable vehicle. Will train. Any housekeeping shifts on Mount Washington do not require a vehicle that is satisfactory in snow, other than to get to a muster point for pick up in the valley.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20 – $24/hour

Compensation may vary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Wash and organize laundry by unit for the housekeeping team

· Maintain a clean facility and ensure laundry doesn't attract lint, dust or hair.

· Clean and sanitize the bathroom

· Report any damages, maintenance issues, or missing items

· Properly record and report billables when laundering outside inventory

· Occasionally assist with deep cleaning or seasonal tasks

Ideal Candidate

· Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but will train (vacation rental or hotel experience a plus)

· Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

· Ability to work independently and follow instructions

· Trustworthy, punctual, and professional, but quite flexible with your schedule as long as the laundry is ready for the next day.

· Comfortable using mobile apps or checklists for task tracking

· Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

o It is a short ski season, so vacation time is not permitted. Vacation pay is paid out on every paycheck for you to enjoy when the season winds down. We can usually guarantee Saturdays and Christmas day are days off. The schedule is determined by the ever-evolving vacation rental bookings, and for full-timers, we do our best to give you 2 days off in a row each week.
