Middle Beach Lodge is currently looking for energetic and reliable housekeeping staff to join our team with a start date between late February to April. The right candidate for this position is an all-around team player with positive attitude and a strong eye for detail.

The Housekeeping Attendant reports to the Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Preference is given to individuals willing to sign a 4-month contract, with the option to extend.

What You'll Do:

  • Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms/cabins while adhering to company standards of cleanliness
  • To clean and maintain guest common spaces
  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas
  • Assist with laundry as required
  • To safely handle cleaning solutions and properly operate cleaning equipment
  • Report necessary maintenance items
  • Clean, stock, and maintain storage spaces
  • Assist with guest requests as needed
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

About You:

  • Organized with great attention to detail
  • Arrives to work on time and is present for all scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work safely with a variety of cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to work within a team and independently
  • Schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays
  • SIN card and Visa requirement: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • A valid WHMIS Certification requiredprior to starting the job

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
