Administrative Coordinator – INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Salary:
$59,336- $74,169- $81,586 per year (pay range explained below)

37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location:
West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC, located on the unceded ancestral territories of the Syilx or Secwépemc Nations – Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy.

About The Role
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Interior Region team. The Administrative Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of regional offices by developing and maintaining administrative systems, processes, and procedures that promote efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing FNHA's mandate to deliver holistic, culturally respectful health and wellness services to First Nations communities.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of administrative expertise, organizational skills, and cultural awareness. You are highly detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Your ability to coordinate, problem-solve, and maintain strong relationships will make you a key contributor to the success of the Interior Region team.

Education

  • A diploma in business/office administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant, recent, and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provision of services to senior-level staff.
  • Experience in working successfully with First Nations communities.
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools, including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
