Vish is hiring a Senior Product Manager

Are you a seasoned Product Manager with a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of user needs, and a drive to turn data into product success? Vish is looking for an experienced leader to own our product strategy and delivery.

The Role

As the Product Manager, you will be the ultimate champion for the product, driving its strategy from concept to launch and iteration. A critical component of this role is mastering the customer feedback loop and applying Lean product development principles to ensure we build the right things, at the right time. This is an on-site position located in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Vish is changing and innovating the hair colour industry. At the local level, Vish helps salons eliminate waste, manage their inventory, increase service revenue and provide valuable insight into their colour business. At the global level, Vish will revolutionize supply chain management for the entire hair colour industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Vish's business goals.
  • Maintain a prioritized product roadmap based on market analysis, customer needs, and business value.

Customer Feedback & Discovery:

  • Establish and manage a robust customer feedback loop by conducting interviews, surveys, and analyzing usage data to understand pain points and opportunities.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable product requirements.

Lean Product Development & Iteration:

  • Implement Lean principles (Build-Measure-Learn loop) to validate assumptions quickly through rapid prototyping and experimentation.
  • Define MVPs and phased rollouts to deliver value to customers early and often.

Requirements Management:

  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for the engineering team.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in an Agile environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, design (UX/UI), and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the UX/UI Designer to ensure a cohesive and optimal user experience.

Requirements

:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or a similar role in software/SaaS.
  • Location: Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to St. John's, Newfoundland.
  • Product Methodology: Proven experience in implementing customer feedback systems and applying Lean/Agile product development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineers.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform product decisions (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Domain Knowledge (Asset): Experience in the beauty, salon, or retail technology space is a plus.
