Project Coordinator
to support our pre-construction team with design, permitting, and consultant coordination, and follow through during the project. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to projects that shape the future of commercial and industrial construction across B.C.

As a Project Coordinator, You Will

  • Support construction projects from initial design through completion and close-out.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of tasks and materials.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, records, and correspondence.
  • Generate clear and timely progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
  • Assist with tracking project expenses and supporting budget controls.
  • Partner with the quality assurance team to ensure work meets specifications and standards.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience as a pre-construction coordinator or in a related role within commercial/industrial construction.
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting and rezoning processes in B.C.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or Revit is an asset.
  • Alignment with Prism's values of humility, ownership, and care.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Competitive salary $55,000 to $70,000 per year (based on experience)
