WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Support development and testing of mainframe applications
• Perform enhancements and modifications to existing batch processing and online applications
• Work with Product owners to understand the requirements for new features.
• Work with Quality Assurance (QA) members to communicate testing impacts and fix the defects reported
• Work on reported defects, help triaging and finding out root cause and fix the defects with high quality

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
• 10+ years of COBOL and mainframe application development, including JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, MVS utilities, and Mainframe SAS
• Strong Agile software development experience
• Experience with web services, API development, and object-oriented design (asset)
• Experience collaborating with remote/international teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively resolve issues
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision; fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, triage, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Unit testing experience
