Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support the finance department by performing a variety of administrative and financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This role is essential in maintaining financial records, assisting with budgeting processes, and providing support during audits.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Support the finance team during audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping within financial systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
