About The Role
A leading mining organization is seeking an accomplished Environmental Manager to oversee environmental compliance, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement for its operations in Québec.

This Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to responsible mining and environmental leadership in Canada's resource sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a robust Environmental Management System (EMS) ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.

Lead environmental impact assessments, permitting, audits, and sustainability reporting.

Manage programs related to air and water quality, waste, and tailings management.

Oversee site rehabilitation, reclamation, and biodiversity conservation initiatives.

Liaise with government agencies, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders to ensure transparent environmental practices.

Provide training and mentorship to site and operations teams on compliance standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental management within mining or natural resource sectors.

In-depth knowledge of Québec's Environment Quality Act (EQA) and Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA).

Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and ESG/sustainability frameworks.

Bilingual in English and French preferred.

Work Arrangement

FIFO rotation schedule – travel and accommodation provided.
