Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations in our food service department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and customer service meet our high standards. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, maintaining food safety protocols, and delivering exceptional eating experiences to our guests.

Duties

  • Supervise food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
  • Train staff on customer service best practices to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean Food required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with strong leadership skills.
  • Background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
  • Experience in supervising teams and managing staff performance is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
