Job Description

The Property Administrator oversees the administrative and maintenance operations of a property. The Property Administrator is responsible for administration of property accounts receivable and management of resident accounts and provides superior customer service in all interactions with residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing Tenant Services, Property Administration, Payables and Office Administration.

  • Provide administrative support including preparation of notices and other resident correspondence.

  • Respond to resident inquiries, feedback, complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide process improvements that proactively enhance the customer experience.

  • Maintain an orderly office area, including proper filing of all hard and soft copy documentation and correspondence.

  • Assist with collection of delinquent rents.

  • Answer incoming calls on multi-line telephones and referring inquiries.

  • Generate work orders as required.

  • Carry out ad-hoc and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

  • Detail-oriented; ability to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 or more years' experience in real estate property administration.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Post-secondary education.

  • Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 10 pounds.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
