Program Manager - Out of School Care (OSC)

Employment Type: Part-time

School Days (*Split Shifts): 6:30am-9:00am, 2:30pm-6:00pm

Wage: starting from $21.40 (Depends on certification)

Expected hours: 25-30 hours per week

Job Description:

Are you responsible, energetic, personable, resourceful and well-organized? Are you looking to get some experience working with children or working toward sharpening your leadership skills? If so, this may be the job for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed program plans to ensure all activities are age appropriate and engaging.
  • Lead and supervise a variety of activities, with the safety of all children being priority at all times.
  • Build positive rapport with all children and their families.
    Establish and maintain open communication with parents/caregivers, school principal and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or education background working with children and youth
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable participating in a variety of physical activities.
  • Training provided
  • Complete a satisfactory criminal record check.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR-C.
    Responsible Adult (RA) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant(ECEA) certification preferred
