Purpose:

The Fitness Centre Attendant will be responsible for demonstrating appropriate use of facilities and equipment and providing customer service.

Education:

Must be enrolled as a York student.Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor certification is an asset.

Experience:

Previous work experience may be considered.

Skills:

1. Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.2. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.3. Ability to understand and demonstrate instructions, policies & procedures.4. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.5. General knowledge of sports and recreation.
