About Eye Care Collective

Eye Care Collective is an initiative of Eye Care Edge, a subsidiary company of Eye Recommend. We are a membership-based platform designed to support independent eyecare professionals (ECPs) through exclusive discounts, streamlined billings, and educational support. Our mission is to unite ECPs through continuous education, collective buying power, and expanded access to the latest innovations, technologies and products.

Role Overview

We are seeking a well-connected self-starting professional with a strong background in the eye care industry, to lead member prospecting and provide virtual coaching support. You will be able to make connections via phone, virtually and travel in person if necessary. This is a unique opportunity to shape your own role within a growing organization, that values innovation, autonomy, and impact.

Location: Ontario

Type: Full time, work from home, travel as necessary

Reports to: Senior Manager of Growth Programs, Eye Recommend.

Key Responsibilities

Member Prospecting and Outreach

·      Identify and engage potential new members who are independent owners of their clinics (independent Opticians and Optometrists, and corporate affiliated practices)

·      Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through the industry, networking, referrals, and outreach campaigns

·      Represent Eye Care Collective at industry events as needed across different provinces

Virtual Coaching and Member Support

·      Provide onboarding support and ongoing virtual coaching to new members

·      Help members navigate the platform, maximize their advantages, and implement best practices

·     Act as a trusted advisor offering strategic guidance, tailored to each members business goals

Strategic Input & Role Development

·      Collaborate with the Eye Care Edge team to refine outreach strategies for member engagement tactics

·      Contribute ideas to improve member experience and retention

·      Take initiative to expand the scope of your role based on evolving needs and personal strengths

Qualifications

·      Minimum five years of experience in the eyecare industry (optical, optometry, supplier or related fields)

·      Strong network within the Canadian eye care community

·      Proven track record in business development, sales, coaching or practice support

·      Excellent communication and relationship building skills

·      Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
