Evaluation Services - Project Engineer
Intertek is searching for a Project Engineer to join our Evaluation Services team in our Coquitlam, BC office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the Code Compliance field The Project Engineer is responsible for managing certification projects.
What you'll do:
Conduct comprehensive research on North American building codes and applicable product standards.
Develop detailed test plans and evaluation protocols based on research findings
Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.
Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.
Collaborate closely with sales, laboratory, and technical teams to support seamless project execution.
Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.
Participate actively in industry committees, standards development activities, and technical association meetings
What it takes to be in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (preferably Materials or Civil Engineering)
Preferred previous experience in the role but not a must
Valid driver's license
Be able to travel within Canada and USA
