Role Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Change, the Change and Engagement Specialist is responsible for leadership and site engagement across all North American sites, supporting the data workstream. This role ensures that site leaders are informed and prepared to actively champion the transformation journey for their site, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Given the nature of the program, we anticipate change and engagement needs will evolve over the duration of the program.

Partnering with Data workstream leadership, site leadership, operational teams, and Transformation Management Office (TMO) the Change and Engagement Specialist ensures that leadership behaviors, communication, and cultural alignment are embedded into the transformation strategy. This role acts as a key connector between the workstream, site and the broader transformation program, ensuring that leadership engagement is tailored, consistent, and impactful.

The Change & Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in driving transformation by leading stakeholder engagement and supporting change adoption across assigned functions and sites. This role combines strategic engagement with hands-on change management, including leading change impact assessments, readiness planning, and behavioral adoption. The Specialist partners closely with site leadership, training, and communications teams to ensure alignment across workstreams, reduce resistance, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who is interested in developing change management capabilities and experience while leveraging their functional knowledge and experience to support the transformation program. They will have familiarity or experience working collaboratively in supply chain management, finance, asset management or human resources and be an excellent communicator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Develop positive relationships with site leaders and functions to foster trust and alignment with transformation goals.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment sessions to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations across workstreams.
  • Promote visible and consistent leadership presence throughout the transformation lifecycle and support a business owned and leader led change experience.
  • Actively assist leaders in promoting change adoption and strengthening innovative work methods
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for site leadership engagement across all North American sites for Transformation Communication and Engagement and change management support.
  • Establishes an integration plan with the MOS change management program.
  • Develop an integrated (EOM & SAP), site Change and Communication Plan for the site leadership team that is aligned to the broader enterprise Change and Communication Plan.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Preparedness Group within the Organizational Readiness Team to assist in delivering the sustainment and operational readiness strategy, to encourage lasting change adoption.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and actions aligned across initiatives to avoid confusion and promote change clarity.
  • Identify and address engagement and change readiness gaps that may impact transformation success.

Communication, Engagement Culture and Behavior Enablement

  • Develop and implement site-specific communication strategies in partnership with Regional and Corporate teams that align with the overall enterprise Change and Communication Plan.
  • Support and facilitate town halls, leadership roundtables, and feedback forums to promote transparency, change awareness. and two-way dialogue on the site.
  • Ensure leaders are equipped with the right tools and messages to engage their teams effectively and champion change.
  • Aid leaders in evaluating the current cultural dynamics and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Co-develop strategies with leaders to embed cultural values and behaviors aligned with transformation objectives.
  • Track and report on cultural initiatives and how they affect change adoption.

Change Delivery Enablement Support and Training

  • Collaborate with change management teams to ensure leadership engagement is coordinated into change plans.
  • Support leaders in managing resistance and reinforcing adoption of new ways of working.
  • Contribute to readiness assessments and change impact analyses and ensuring alignment from a leadership perspective.
  • Support Change Champions and SMEs in reinforcing change messages and modeling desired behaviors across teams.
  • Collaborate and provide leadership to EY Change Specialists to localize and deliver change strategies tailored to each site's context.
  • Facilitate customized change sessions and workshops with site management and change teams to support collaborators during the change process.
  • Aid in crafting and implementing tailored communication and involvement strategies for individual sites.
  • Collaborate with Business Owners to conduct Change Impact Assessments (CIAs) to validate impacts, communicate preparedness, and guarantee alignment with operations.
  • Partner with Operational Readiness team to develop site training schedules and support on-site coordination of SAP and EOM training (technical and non-technical) training.
  • Support development to business process training materials as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in with exposure to Supply Chain, Asset Management and/or Finance processes.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems and certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Must be comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
  • Capable of flourishing in a dynamic, growing environment.
  • Experience developing communications and engagement strategies including leading and planning workshops and meetings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with digital tools for communication and collaboration (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).

Pay Range: CAD $105,000 - $130,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
