What would my role be?

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will:

• Provide portering services and general support to the unit as required according to the policies, procedures, and standards of Bruyère Health in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Be a member of the interdisciplinary and support team.

How do I qualify?

Required:

• Completion of High School Diploma
• Minimum of one (1) month experience in a related field

Preferred:

• Fluent in French and English

What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?

• Knowledge of Safe Patient Transfers Program
• Able to perform activities requiring considerable standing, bending, reaching, pushing, transferring of patients and equipment and walking.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work autonomously and able to actively and effectively collaborate with the members of the interdisciplinary team as well as other support personnel throughout the organization.
• Able to prioritize and consult other team members re: prioritization.
• Perfectionnement professionnel et occasions d'apprentissage.
