We are a property management company in Ottawa looking to add a hardworking, and efficient Porter to our team
- Maintaining the electrical & mechanical room, as well as the equipment
- Assist building technician & operator when necessary
- Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout assigned property
- Picks up trash and empties trash containers
- Performs light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes
- Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exterior
- Relay/note any deficiencies to the supervisor
- Assist with escorting contractors
- Willingness to travel to various sites
**Requirements/Qualifications**
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning and maintenance services
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Good communication and customer service skills
- No on-call
- Must be able to be cleared
- Aware of health & safety policies/regulations
- Over time may be required occasionally
**Hours**:
**7:30AM to 4:00PM**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
