We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at
Cedarview Middle School.
Cedarview Middle School has an enrollment of approximately 650 students. Cedarview has a dynamic, energetic staff that is committed to providing quality educational experiences to all students. We present our students with a range of opportunities to extend their interests, talents, skills and leadership qualities. We work together in professional learning teams to identify and respond to student learning needs.
Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board's (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being.

Eligibility List
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

Qualifications
If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows:

• current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by
• qualified external applicants.

Required Qualifications
OCT Divisional Qualifications: Intermediate
OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1
Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) considered an asset for the Position:

• Spec Ed , ESL or TELL qualifications would be considered an asset.
