A well-established international aviation organisation is seeking
Aircraft Asset Managers
to join its leasing and asset management function. This is a technically focused role with strong exposure to aircraft transitions, lease returns, deliveries, and ongoing asset oversight across a global customer base.
The position sits within a professional, fast-paced leasing environment and offers long-term career progression within a diversified aviation group.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior technical leadership, you will be responsible for the
technical and financial oversight of leased aircraft assets
, supporting lease returns, lease deliveries, repossessions, and aircraft transactions.
This role requires close coordination with MROs, operators, lessors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure assets are managed in line with contractual, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical and financial oversight of maintenance projects at internal and external MRO facilities
- Validation and approval of work scopes for component overhaul and exchange
- Support records audits and develop work scopes for return-to-service and lease delivery
- Provide technical support for the management of leased aircraft
- Support contractual decisions relating to lease returns, lease deliveries, repossessions, and aircraft acquisitions
- Input into cost estimates associated with lease return and lease delivery scopes
- Liaise with customers on technical and contractual matters
- Evaluate and approve maintenance reserve claim eligibility
- Provide technical advisory support for leasing, purchase, and sale transactions
- Conduct on-site technical audits at lessee facilities
- Liaise with relevant aviation regulatory authorities as required
- Support marketing and operations teams during aircraft transitions
Experience & Background
- Minimum
5 years' experience
in a senior or lead aircraft maintenance role - Previous experience in aircraft asset management, technical leasing support, or maintenance management
- Strong understanding of operating within a
regulated aviation environment
Qualifications
- Licensed
AME M2 or AME-E - Experience on
Dash 8 (all series), CRJ (all series), or 737 Classic / NG - Strong understanding of aircraft records, major repairs and modifications
- Knowledge of aircraft acquisition and import/export procedures
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Confident communicator, able to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable operating in an international, multi-cultural setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems (e.g. CAMP, Traxxall)
- Willingness and ability to travel
