Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dentistry treatments with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are strictly followed to uphold infection control standards.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and digital imaging systems while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Manage patient records by accurately documenting medical history, treatment plans, and procedural notes within cleardent
  • Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, suctioning, and ensuring smooth workflow during procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and answer questions related to dental terminology and procedures.
  • Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and maintaining organized medical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures to ensure a welcoming environment for young patients.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Cleardent for efficient medical documentation and record management.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Experience with dental imaging technologies including X-ray machines and 3D scanners for accurate diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology across various specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry.
  • Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care flow.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and pediatrics to facilitate effective communication with patients and team members.
  • Skills in managing medical coding for billing purposes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour
