We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely shipping and receiving processes.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of goods.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with team members to build pallets, organize products, and maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment within the facility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS Experience in a busy manufacturing facility
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Experience with order picking and inventory management practices.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and clamp trucks.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid forklift operator certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
