Tycho Poly Inc. is a leading blown film extrusion manufacturing company specializing in custom polyethylene film products. We are currently seeking a reliable Forklift Operator & Production Floor Helper to join our team at our Keele facility.

Position Summary:

This position involves material handling, cutting cores, and assisting with various production and plant tasks as assigned by management. The role also includes supporting the team with basic paperwork and ensuring efficient, organized operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Cut cores and prepare materials for production runs.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and material transfers.
  • Help with basic paperwork, labeling, or documentation as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
  • Follow all safety and quality control procedures.
  • Support management and production staff with additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift license and at least 1 year of forklift driving experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have access to a vehicle, as occasional travel between plant facilities may be required.
  • Experience in blown film extrusion is an asset.
  • Experience working in a logistics or supply chain management role is an asset.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.
