Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in menu planning, development, and implementation for various dining services
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation, safety, and efficiency
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to ensure optimal kitchen operations
- Oversee food safety compliance and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
- Lead kitchen operations during assigned shifts, including managing time effectively and delegating tasks appropriately
- Train new team members on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques
- Support dietary department requirements by preparing specialized menus or dishes as needed
- Assist in kitchen management tasks such as shift management, inventory management, and maintaining operational standards
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end culinary environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
- Experience with menu planning, food service management, and culinary innovation
- Familiarity with food industry standards including dietary restrictions, catering services, and restaurant experience
- Skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management are essential

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
