Alarm Monitoring Operator:

Prestige Monitoring Station is looking for a reliable monitoring operator for full-time work. Candidate must be able to work afternoon/evenings and be willing to work weekends plus some weekdays as needed.

This job requires an attentive candidate who is reliable, and able to work in a high speed environment.

Duties include:

  • Monitoring video feeds from security cameras to detect suspicious activity, such as theft or vandalism
  • Reporting any incidents to appropriate staff members
  • Answer & dispatch alarms per customer instructions via alarm and video monitoring software
  • Contacting emergency services in the event an emergency alarm is received
  • Operating telephone switchboards to take calls from customers or clients and direct them to the appropriate person

Alarm monitoring or security experience is a benefit, but not required

Shift: 5pm-1am (tentative and subject to change)

Training Hours: Mon-Fri 10am-2pm

Must be able to pass a criminal record check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
