Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and close-out of construction projects. This is a hands-on role suited for a highly organized, technically capable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of the details that make projects successful.

Key Responsibilities

Project Documentation & Controls

  • Assist with the creation, organization, and management of project documentation, including drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, NCRs, QA/QC reports, schedules, and change order requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date document control systems using various platforms
  • Ensure documentation is properly tracked, issued, and archived in accordance with project requirements

Cost Control & Procurement Support

  • Support the Project Manager with tracking and managing change orders, progress payment applications, and overall project costs
  • Assist with bid tendering processes, including evaluations, summaries, contractor qualification, and award recommendations
  • Help monitor project deliverables to ensure alignment with budget and schedule

Project Planning & Execution

  • Assist with planning activities including mobilization and demobilization logistics
  • Support coordination of site resources, including direct and indirect labour, subcontractors, and general trade contractors
  • Prepare and update project schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, action logs, and progress reports
  • Interface with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and site teams as required
  • Support project close-out activities including O&M manuals, as-builts, OEM binders, final inspections, and deficiency management

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of construction project management with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Broad technical knowledge across multiple construction trades
  • Experience or working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and BMS control systems is a strong asset
  • Excellent computer and documentation skills with experience in project management systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and processes, including ITPs, SWPs, and QA/QC documentation
  • Estimating experience is considered a strong asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
