The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial and multi-residential projects in the Edmonton market. This role is ideal for a driven, hands-on leader who can manage projects end-to-end, make confident decisions, and elevate the performance of those around them. You will play a key role in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial construction environment where results, accountability, and ownership matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial and multi-residential construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, including renovations, tenant improvements, and new builds
  • Own project budgets, schedules, quality control, safety compliance, and client satisfaction
  • Participate in pre-construction estimating, scope development, and planning
  • Develop, manage, and track critical paths to deliver projects on aggressive timelines
  • Directly manage and mentor Project Coordinators, ensuring accountability and performance
  • Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors and trades, including performance evaluation
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients, investors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Make informed, independent decisions to keep projects moving without reliance on constant oversight
  • Work closely with the safety function to ensure all projects meet safety and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, forecasting, invoicing, and reporting

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Significant experience managing commercial and multi-residential construction projects
  • Strong understanding of critical path methodology and construction sequencing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects valued from several hundred thousand dollars up to approximately one million dollars
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing Project Coordinators or similar roles
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong technical understanding of construction processes, means, and methods
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead clients, trades, and internal teams
  • Highly organized, decisive, and solutions-oriented

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience
