Duration: 10 Months with possibility of extension
Location: Belleville, ON
Job Description:
"Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion-Reviewing projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs-Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations- Coordinate and direct construction workers and contractors daily while Reviewing work done.- Ensure quality construction standards and use of proper construction techniques- analyze, Manage, and mitigate risks- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses"

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception, design coordination, and planning through execution and final handover.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of project drawings, specifications, and scope to define deliverables, develop realistic schedules, and prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Supervise all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors on a daily basis, ensuring work is completed according to approved plans and timelines.
- Review completed work regularly to ensure it meets quality standards, design specifications, and approved construction techniques.
- Enforce quality assurance and quality control processes while promoting the use of best construction practices and materials.
- Identify, analyze, and proactively manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and safety issues.
- Negotiate terms of agreements with contractors and suppliers, draft and review contracts, and manage change orders as required.
- Obtain and ensure compliance with all required permits, licenses, and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, control costs, and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, architects, and regulatory authorities to resolve issues and support successful project outcomes.
