Position Summary:
CSN Golden Triangle in Guelph offers a wide range of auto body services to all Guelph residents. These services include collision and auto body repair, scratch and dent repair, paintless dent repair, 24/7 accident assistance, high-end vehicle painting, and windshield and glass repair. We also offer quick and complimentary estimates on all repair services. Customers choose CSN Golden Triangle in Guelph because they know they can trust us. Our reputation speaks for itself. We provide customers with high-quality vehicle repairs, fast turnaround times, and inexpensive rates, all while prioritizing the customer's needs. To put all customers at ease, we even offer a National Lifetime Warranty that applies to all services for as long as the customer owns their vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand the vehicle surfaces using sandpaper, grinders, or other tools to create a smooth surface for painting
- Apply masking tape and paper to protect areas of the vehicle that will not be painted
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Ensure proper adhesion of paint by removing dirt, debris, and imperfections from the surfaces
- Assist with mixing paint and primers according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools
- Collaborate with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:- Previous experience as an Auto Body Prepper or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of sanding and masking techniques
- Familiarity with automotive paints, primers, and painting equipment
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
