Job Description

Permanent Position

The Logistics Systems Expert works under the responsibility of the Director of Operational Efficiency. Their initial mandate will be to actively participate in the integration of new logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.) in collaboration with the IT and operations teams. Afterwards, they will play a strategic role within the Centre of Excellence (COE), ensuring the sustainability, standardization, and continuous innovation of logistics practices in a digital transformation context.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial systems integration: Participate in the deployment, configuration, and testing of logistics solutions.
  • Process analysis: Map existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
  • Documentation and standardization: Define and formalize processes to ensure consistent adoption across the organization.
  • Training and support: Assist internal users during the transition to new tools.
  • Systems governance: Ensure maintenance, monitoring, optimization, and evolution of logistics solutions within the COE.
  • Continuous improvement: Implement initiatives to increase supply chain efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
  • External collaboration: Work with suppliers and partners to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
  • Strategic reporting: Produce performance reports and provide recommendations to management.
  • Innovation and technology watch: Anticipate trends and propose innovative solutions to keep the company at the forefront.

Strategic Role within the COE

  • Become a key player in the digital transformation of logistics.
  • Ensure the sustainability of systems and the dissemination of best practices.
  • Serve as an internal reference for future projects and the evolution of logistics solutions.
  • Contribute to global process standardization and alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Participate in technology monitoring and trend anticipation to keep the company at the cutting edge of innovation.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • DEP in Operations Management or Transportation Logistics (equivalent experience will also be considered);
  • Strong organizational skills focused on efficiency and productivity;
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment;
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to maximize performance;
  • Innovative mindset with strong knowledge of best practices in operational excellence for logistics;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with ERP systems (inventory management systems), WMS, TMS, as well as proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time during the digital transformation project phase.

  • Technical expertise: mastery of logistics systems (ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS), IT integration, and data management;
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze complex processes and propose innovative solutions;
  • Project management: experience implementing systems, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and meeting deadlines and budgets;
  • Leadership and communication: ability to influence, train, and support teams through change;
  • Strategic vision: understanding of supply chain challenges and alignment of systems with business objectives;
  • Continuous improvement culture: commitment to standardization, innovation, and sustainable performance.
  • Assets: Experience in digital transformation, knowledge of industry best practices.
