Role Description

This is a
full-time, field-based role
for an
Electrical Sales Consultant
serving
Calgary and surrounding areas
. The role involves actively generating new business by meeting with builders, developers, contractors, and homeowners, understanding their electrical needs, and presenting tailored solutions.

You'll represent Voltus Electrical Solutions in the Calgary market, build relationships, and secure electrical projects while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive throughout Calgary and surrounding areas to generate and secure new electrical work
  • Meet with clients to understand project requirements and propose electrical solutions
  • Promote residential, commercial, energy-efficient, and low-voltage services
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Follow up on leads and manage opportunities through to contract award
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure successful project handoff
  • Contribute to sales strategies to grow Voltus' presence in Alberta

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    sales, consulting, or business development
  • Strong customer service mindset with a focus on long-term relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experience in construction, electrical, or energy-related industries is an asset
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient or low-voltage systems is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $3,000 per month
  • Commission: 2% on every project secured
