Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Builder Helper to support the Lead Builder in the installation and construction of Suncoast Enclosures products, including screen rooms, sunrooms, and patio enclosures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning a trade, and working outdoors as part of a team.

The Builder Helper plays an important role in maintaining jobsite organization, quality workmanship, and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Builder with installation of screen enclosures, sunrooms, and related products
  • Prepare job sites by unloading materials, organizing tools, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Measure, cut, and handle materials as directed
  • Hold and position materials during installation
  • Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and professional at all times
  • Follow installation instructions, safety procedures, and company standards
  • Communicate effectively with the Lead Builder and other team members
  • Represent Suncoast professionally when interacting with customers
  • Assist with end-of-day clean-up and jobsite organization
  • Support quality control by checking work as directed

Skills

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry materials (up to ~50 lbs)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic hand tool knowledge is an asset (training provided)
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
  • Positive attitude and respect for customers and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
